1855 - Henryk Wieniawski
One of the most famous Polish and European composers, and a virtuoso violinist who introduced the polonaise to Europe’s violin literature. It is likely that he visited Książ Castle at the end of a concert tour in which he performed with his brother in 1850. Among his best-known works are the Polonaise in D Major, Op. 4, Polonaise in A Major, Op. 21, the Scherzo-Tarantelle, the Faust Fantasy. Légende and the F Sharp Violin Concerto.
