Latin name: Callistemon salignus ‘Great Balls of Fire’

This cultivar was specially selected in Australia. It is marked by a compact form and by its intensively pink-red-coloured young leaves, turning green over time. The plant grows to a height of 1.7 metres, thus its function as a hedge plant. It is very tolerant of different conditions of cultivation. In climates like Poland’s, it may be grown as an potted plant, inside dwellings or on a terrace, presented outdoors in the summer.
