The red angel’s trumpet is a shrub or tree growing to 10 metres in height. Its large, oval-shaped leaves have the furry texture of chamois. Its nodding, funnel-shaped or tubular flower has a green calyx and a yellow, red or orange crown. The plant grows naturally only in areas between 2,000 and 3,000 feet above sea level.
