The area of the Flower and Art Festival includes Książ Castle, the castle approaches and the terraces. Festival tickets provide for admission to the castle and to planned events.

1 This provides for a single entry, on the date for which the ticket was purchased, from 30 April to 3 May, 2020, for a non-guided visit to Książ Castle as well as the Castle approaches, during the festival opening hours . Festival tickets provide for admission to all attractions, exhibitions, lectures and workshops scheduled in the programme, except for admission to the tunnel and the mausoleum (to which admission is only with a guide, for a supplementary charge). These tickets do not provide for admission to the Wałbrzych Palm House.
2 The castle online purchase system may be found at http://bilety.ksiaz.walbrzych.pl/ (please go to the Festiwal Kwiatów i Sztuki - 30.04-03.05, and then Flowers Festival).
3 Reduced-price tickets are available for children and school pupils, students up to the age of 24; the handicapped and those caring for them; retired people and other pensioners; those between the ages of 4 and 16 or over the age of 65. Reduced-price tickets will be provided only upon prior presentation of a valid document entitling the purchaser to a price reduction. Admission is free to children up to the age of four.
4 New Underground Route runs along the terraces, in the direction of the main Castle building. The first half of the route ends where the construction works caved in, at the entrance to the elevator shaft which is now filled in. This shaft was to lead out to the Honorary Courtyard. The ticket is valid for a 45-minute guided visit to the Książ Castle underground area. Admission is valid only on the specific date, and at the specific time, shown on the ticket. A supplementary ticket is required to visit the Underground Route (a ticket for admission to the festival grounds, where the Undergound's entrance is located, is also required). PLEASE NOTE: During the Festival of Flowers and Art, one should allow 90 to 120 minutes to tour the Castle, depending on traffic (whether it is a peak time or a holiday). Please plan your visit to the Castle in such a way that you will be at the entrance to the underground at least five minutes before the tour starts (the starting time is on your ticket). 5 The tunnel was dug, during World War II, 15 metres under the castle. Visitors have access to a 96-metre length of the tunnel, 1.5 metres wide and 2.5 metres in height, ending at an unfinished staircase. The ticket is valid for a 15-minute guided visit to the tunnel. A supplementary ticket is required to visit the tunnel (a ticket for admission to the festival grounds, where the tunnel’s entrance is located, is also required).
6 The Hochberg Mausoleum is located in the distance from the Castle: about 9 minutes on foot, 700 metres. A burial chapel for the Hochberg family features stucco wall decorations and vault paintings depicting Książ Castle from four sides of the world. Visitors will discover there a capacious crypt, which was was dug out in rock.
We honour the Polish Large Family Card, as well as the Wałbrzych 3+ Large Family Card.
Both cards entitle bearers to purchase tickets for non-guided visits to the Castle:
a) to children and other young people of school age, students under 26 years of age for 15 zloties (tax included) per person
b) children under 5 years of age - admission is free
c) to parents of children and adolescents indicated in point a) - according to the current price list.
Both cards entitle bearers to purchase tickets for non-guided visits to Palm House for 1 zloty (tax included)/person.

Concerned that you enjoy a safe visit to Książ Castle during the Gardens of Flovers in Książ, we present the following guidelines, in the form of answers to frequently asked questions.

No. During the event, this is a restricted zone. The walk to the Castle from the car parks and the nearest bus stops takes from five to ten minutes.
There are six sales points (kasy biletowe) in front of the gate building, where tickets may be purchased from 9 a.m. To 6 p.m. Please note that there is a single queue to the entrance to the event area. We ask you to follow the instructions of security staff. Tickets may also be purchased online, but they must be printed, once they are sent as an attachment to an e mail confirming your purchase. Those with tickets purchased online are still required to join the queue for ticket control.
During days, there will be limited vehicle access to the Castle. You are asked to contact the reception at your hotel, where you will be informed as to where to park your vehicle, and how to get to the hotel most directly.

No. During the event period, all traffic is prohibited in the area in front of the Castle. Bicycles must be walked. Ask at the information point, by the sales booths, about where bicycle racks are located.
No. We ask to you plan carefully, and have coffee or shop before you leave the tickets-only area.
No, unless you are exhibitors or a Castle hotel guest.
Smoking is prohibited throughout the Castle area. Security staff will escort anyone smoking from the event grounds. Further, smoke may lead to the compulsory evacuation of the entire facility, in which case the person responsible will be liable for the related costs.
