Important announcement! Castle tours during the Festival are available only with festival tickets. Access to the courtyard is ticketed. With these tickets visitors can tour the flowered-decked Castle and enjoy all the attractions, such as lectures, fashion shows, tour the terraces, access to the plant stall area and more. An additional ticket is required for these three attractions: additional Floral Exhibition ‘Master of Baroque’, Underground tour and Night Tour (there are available 2 different editions: for adults and children).
The Flowers and Art Festival 2025 is undoubtedly the most colorful event at Książ Castle. For the 35th time, the castle will transform into a true kingdom of flowers, with a breathtaking floral carpet leading the way to its gates.

This year, during the Festival of Flowers and Art, you will have a unique opportunity to visit special floral arrangement with a castle guide. We will take you to a mystical place located in the heart of the castle: the medieval section, carved into solid rock. These stone walls will be decorated in an extraordinary way, with light and shadow playing a key role in the experience.
The exhibition, titled "Master of the Baroque", will reveal this particularly vibrant aspect of the castle. And to make it even more special, you will be guided through the display by the Master of the Baroque himself.
Floral imagination knows no bounds, and this year, we will prove it together with 70 master florists. With a record-breaking investment in flowers, rivers of plants will flow through the castle, and extraordinary ideas will become the hallmark of this year’s festival, as Książ transforms into "Książ of the Masters."

Your Festival Ticket Grants Access to All Lectures!
Each day of the Festival, lectures will take place on the ground floor of the castle, led by florists, the Museum and Education Department, the Castle’s Greenery Department, and special guests. During these sessions, you’ll uncover some of the greatest secrets of Książ Castle through the eyes of masters of their craft.

Again this year, over 50 exhibitors will present their plants and related products, among them many gardeners, florists, artisans, jewellers and gourmets. Visitors will feast their eyes on a wide range of plants, flower bulbs, small trees, orchids, herbs, ceramics, regional products and artistic works such as paintings, jewellery, decorations, and minerals. There will be no lack of fine wines, as well as honey and other natural products … something for everyone!
Night Tour tickets are sold separately and do not include entry to the festival (this attraction takes place after 8:30 p.m each day of the Festival).

Once darkness takes over Książ, the "Master of Fear" will be your guide through a haunted castle, where ghosts and legends come to life. This brave figure will share terrifying tales from Książ’s past and lead you into rooms you wouldn’t dare enter during the day.

The area of the Flower and Art Festival includes Książ Castle, courtyard, the castle approaches and the terraces. Festival tickets provide for admission to the castle and to planned events.
Important: It’s not allowed to bring dogs into the ticked area.

From April 30th to May 4th , 2025, entrance to the castle approaches will require a ticket.
Tickets may be purchased at www.bilety.ksiaz.walbrzych.pl or ath the ticket office during the castle opening hours. A ticket purchased through the online system may be presented as a paper ticket or electronically, displayed on a mobile device screen.
Annotations
1. This provides for a single entry, on the date for which the ticket was purchased, from 30 April to 4 May, 2025, for a non-guided visit to Książ Castle as well as the Castle approaches, during the festival opening hours . Festival tickets provide for admission to all attractions, exhibitions, lectures and workshops scheduled in the programme, except for admission to the tunnel and the mausoleum (to which admission is only with a guide, for a supplementary charge). These tickets do not provide for admission to the Wałbrzych Palm House.
Please note that only a limited number of tickets are sold for each day.
2. Reduced-price tickets are available for children and school pupils, students up to the age of 24; the handicapped and those caring for them; retired people and other pensioners; those between the ages of 4 and 16 or over the age of 65. Reduced-price tickets will be provided only upon prior presentation of a valid document entitling the purchaser to a price reduction. Admission is free to children up to the age of four.
3. Ticket for admission to the festival grounds is required at the same day.
4. Underground Route runs along the terraces, in the direction of the main Castle building. The first half of the route ends where the construction works caved in, at the entrance to the elevator shaft which is now filled in. This shaft was to lead out to the Honorary Courtyard. The ticket is valid for a 35-minute guided visit to the Książ Castle underground area. Admission is valid only on the specific date, and at the specific time, shown on the ticket. A supplementary ticket is required to visit the Underground Route (a ticket for admission to the festival grounds, where the Undergound's entrance is located, is also required). PLEASE NOTE: During the Festival of Flowers and Art, one should allow 90 to 120 minutes to tour the Castle, depending on traffic (whether it is a peak time or a holiday). Please plan your visit to the Castle in such a way that you will be at the entrance to the underground at least five minutes before the tour starts (the starting time is on your ticket). 5. The Książ by Night tour takes place only in Polish, after the festival opening hours. The Książ By Night tour is a special service, organized for adults, so there are no reduced prices. Tickets for the Książ By Night tour do not include admission to the Walbrzych Palm House. Książ by Night tour are separate tickets (a ticket for admission to the festival grounds, isn't required). Meeting point is in front of the ticket office building. Parking for participants of the Night Tour is located in the Main Parking lot in the park (the map is available here).
6. The additional Floral Exhibition "Baroque Master" in the medieval part of the castle (not open daily) is an additional attraction during the 35th Flower and Art Festival, and visiting it requires the purchase of a separate ticket. Groups to visit the exhibition will be formed on an ongoing basis on the first floor of the castle. This year's exhibition is shrouded in real mystery because it was inspired by the so-called "Baroque Master",. Get ready for extraordinary experiences and surprising elements. Concerned that you enjoy a safe visit to Książ Castle during the XXXII Flower and Art Festival in Książ, we present the following guidelines, in the form of answers to frequently asked questions.
The Flower and Art Festival each year turns Książ into the beating heart of Lower Silesia. Specially for you, magnificent floral arrangements are presented inside the castle, lectures and workshops for the youngest are held in the conference rooms, and presentations take place, while animators move around the complex to entertain you.

From April 30th to May 504th, 2025, to enter the complex (ticketed area), you must have a ticket for the 35th Festival of Flowers and Art. With this ticket, you can visit the interiors of the castle, the honorary courtyard, and terraces. Purchased tickets entitle you to one entry to the festival area and participation in all attractions, lectures, and workshops we have planned.
There are additional ticketed options:
Visiting the Underground from the time of World War II. The underground can be explored with a guide at a specific time. The date of the underground visit can be found on the ticket. Please arrive at the entrance to the underground a few minutes before your tour begins.
Extra floristry exhibition "Master of Baroque" in the medieval part of the castle - a mystical, flower arrangement will show you a very important time in Książ’s history, you will be guided by a real Master.
Night tour with a guide and ghosts - an evening tour with a guide featuring ghosts covering inaccessible parts of the castle, we invite you to separate editions:
Directly in front of the Gate Building, there is a ticket pavilion where you can purchase tickets from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Please follow the instructions given by the security staff. You can also purchase tickets online using the system at www.bilety.ksiaz.walbrzych.pl. We encourage you to use this method of purchase as it will save you time waiting in line for tickets.
No. This is a restricted area during the Flower and Art Festival.
For motorists, we recommend parking at the Stallions Parking or at the Auchan Parking (ul. Wieniawskiego 19) and arriving at the festival area by a free bus that runs every 20 minutes.

Only certified guide dogs, such as assistance dogs in harnesses (detailed rules for bringing guide dogs are set down in the visitor regulations that are available here. Other animals are not allowed.
Please note that the time required to walk through the castle during the Flower and Art Festival is from 90 to 120 minutes depending on traffic (rush hours, non-working days). Please plan your visit to the castle in such a way that you will arrive at the entrance to the underground about 5 minutes before the tour starts (the time is shown on the ticket). Below is a map of the way to the underground and the time of going through the castle. If your tour is to take place in a shorter time than the time needed to pass through the castle, we suggest taking advantage of the attractions in the outer bailey while waiting, going to the underground tour, and then entering the main Książa building.
We’ve planned two variants of night tour this year, one for adults, second for families with children. Which one should you choose?
Family night tours start every day from 8:30 pm., adults night tours start every day from 9:00 pm. Both variants are full of attractions, paranormal encounters and unusual stories.
If your children are more fragile we recommend you to choose family variant.
UNDERAGE INDIVIDUALS AT VARIANT FOR ADULTS: This variant of night tour is recommended for adults. The underage individuals are allowed to take part in this tour only under a supervision and responsibility of their legal guardian. Bringing children under age 8 years old is not recommended.
MEETING POINT: During the festival the ticket office closes at 7 p.m. The night tour groups will start their tours from 8:00 p.m. every next 15-20 minutes (time of your tour is on your ticket). Please wait for your guide next to the ticket office building.
PARKING: Parking for participants of a night tour is available at Main Parking in the park (900 meters apart from the castle, walk time - 10 minutes). Please come at meeting point 5 minutes before your tour begins.

Yes, but you will need to leave it at the left-luggage point, which you will find immediately upon entering the Castle building. There are many storeys in the Castle, and so you will need to hold the child in your arms for over an hour. Front child carriers are allowed. There are, of course, places (on the terraces, and directly in front of the Castle) where you may sit and rest. The child may be strapped or unstrapped at the changing table near the porter’s lodge, on the main floor of the Castle. There is access to toilets, marked by arrows on each floor; security staff are also there to help with any question.
As there is restricted access to the road leading to the Castle, we ask you to contact the reception at the hotel where you have booked accommodation. They will inform you as to where to leave your vehicle and how to reach the hotel.

No. During the Festival period, all traffic is prohibited in the area in front of the Castle. Bicycles must be walked. Ask at the information point, by the sales booths, about where bicycle racks are located.
No you cannot. You are allowed to be at the area in front of the Castle, after festival hours, only if you are a festival vendor/exibitor, hotel guest or when you take a part in a Night Tour.
Smoking is prohibited throughout the Castle area. Security staff will escort anyone smoking from the Festival grounds. Further, smoke may lead to the compulsory evacuation of the entire facility, in which case the person responsible will be liable for the related costs.

We consider each situation individually (please describe the situation that has led you to ask for a refund), and on the basis of a written request, and so it is not possible for you to receive a refund on demand. At the time, we would point out that we are under no obligation to accept the return of tickets purchased for a designated day or period (this is consistent with Article 38, point 12 of the Law on Consumer Rights), and so we urge you to think over your visit carefully before making your purchase.
In the castle, free toilets are located on each floor and they are marked along the visiting route. You can also ask security staff how to get to the nearest toilet. Each restaurant in the complex also has a toilet for clients. In the non-ticketed, gastronomic zone, we have provided you with portable toi-toi toilets - they are payable (PLN 2) and kept clean on an ongoing basis for your comfort. There is also a paid container toilet (PLN 2) in the Coach Parking (Parking P1), which can be used while waiting for the return bus. Free toi-toi toilets are also located in the Stada Ogierów Książ parking lot.
You may leave your coat free of charge by the main entrance to the Castle. During the Festival period, the Castle visitor route leads through the Castle to the terraces, from which it is necessary to return to the building to recover your effects.
Yes, as long as it does not present a risk to other visitors or to the facility’s exhibitions. The security staff determines this. They may request you to leave your bag or backpack at the left-luggage point. We ask you to keep small tourist backpacks in front of you (do not wait to be asked). This will make the security staff’s work easier, and help make other guests’ visit more pleasant.
Yes. We constantly monitor traffic on the road and provide information about any difficulties via Facebook. At the same time, we kindly ask you to follow the instructions of law enforcement authorities.
REGULATIONS OF VISITING KSIĄŻ CASTLE, PALM HOUSE AND FESTIVAL OF FLOWERS AND ART
When participating in the castle festivals, including visiting the grounds in the Castle and Park complex of Książ Castle, the provisions of the Regulations for visiting the Castle and Palm House shall apply, taking into account the rules described in paragraph no. 6.
During the castle festivals admission to the area in front of the Castle is ticked.
Bringing dogs to the festival area is forbidden.
